My topic for this poster project is "Violence Against Women". Through my research, I found out that there are many kinds of violence, and the most common ones would be domestic violence and sexual assault. It is shocking for me to know that one in three women have actually experienced sexual assault. Nowadays, women rights is a vital issue for any society in the world. In my opinion, women in every country should speak up for themselves and report injustice to protect their own rights.
我本次海报的主题是“针对女性的暴力行为”。通过我的调查研究，我了解到其实有很多种类的暴力行为，其中最普遍的是家庭暴力和性侵犯。让我感觉到非常震惊的是，资料显示:每3个女人中就有1个会经历过不同程度的性侵犯。在当今社会，女权是一个全球性的重要问题。在我看来，每一个国家的女性都应该为自己发声，同时举报身边的不公平，捍卫她们自己的权利。

This poster is about the consequence of son preference in India and China which showed the unfair treatment towards gender. The issue is significantly serious in these two countries. It mainly introduced the time it happened, the causes, and present condition, provide useful method to solve the consequence in the future. To make the poster clear and interesting, I print the pictures out and add some cartoons to explain the content.
这个海报主要讲的是中国和印度普遍存在的偏爱男孩问题,显示了男女不平等问题。其中中国和印度偏爱男孩的问题最为严重。海报的内容主要包括问题发生的时间、原因、现在的状况和未来能够提供的有效措施。为了让海报开起来更清楚有趣，我选择打印照片并且画一些漫画去解释里面的内容。

My poster mainly introduces a feminism movement called #MeToo Movement. It is a movement or champion that females protest the sexual assaults and harassments in media field. It is started in 2006 by a black woman named Tarana Burke, then in 2017, an actress named Alyssa Milano began to spread the hashtag #MeToo on Twitter, which caused a huge impact on the Internet. After this Twitter, more women started to share their painful experience and accuse men who work in media and hurt them sexually. This movement has already changed the whole social media’s world and more women have stood up for themselves. I share this movement to everyone because I believe this protest just the beginning of modern feminism movement, it encourages tons of women to be more confident. As a woman, we should always speak for ourselves, this world is not only dominated by men, we must find our places.
我的海报介绍了一个女权主义运动叫#MeToo行动。这是一个社交媒体领域工作的女性抗议自己被同领域男性性侵或者性骚扰的运动。它是由一个名为Tarana Burke的黑人女性在2006年发起的，然后在2017年，一个名为Alyssa Milano的女演员开始在推特上传播#MeToo的标签，在社交媒体上产生了巨大的影响。这个推特发布之后，越来越多的女性开始鼓起勇气分享自己痛苦的经历，并开始指控那些对她们性侵的男人。我分享这个女权运动的原因是因为我相信这只是现代女权运动的开始，它鼓励女性变得更加自信。作为一个女人，我们应该一直为我们发声，这个世界不仅仅是被男性掌控，我们应该在这个世界上找到自己的位置。
