从2017年夏天在新西兰奥克兰举行的首届峰会，到2018年夏天在青岛九中举行的第二届峰会，再到2019年夏天的新西兰克莱斯特彻奇举行的第三届峰会——连续三届中国-新西兰未来青年领袖峰会，不仅见证了中新两国青少年的成长，更增进了新西兰师生与青岛九中师生的友谊。
新冠肺炎疫情发生后，就读于新西兰北岛的罗托鲁阿Western Heights High School的Lucas，是第二届和第三届峰会的“两朝元老”，他也很惦记九中的小伙伴，日前他专门拍摄了微视频，送上了来自赤道另一端的问候——

同学们，大家好，我的新西兰名字是Lucas，同时我的中国名字是帅男孩。
Some of you may recognize me. I was in Qingdao No.9 High school in 2018.
你们中有些人可能已经认出我，我曾在2018年在青岛九中参加峰会。
Just wanna send some love and positive you way. I am really sorry about the sickness and over negativity happening in china at the moment.
在此，想要向大家表达一些关心和积极的心态。对于目前中国发生的疫情，我感到非常伤心。
Please know myself and rest of New Zealand, we love you, we hear for you, we stand for you and beside you at this tough time.
请知道，我自己和新西兰其他地区的人们，我们都非常爱你们，都一直关注你们，在当下的困难时刻一直在支持你们。
Also, laoshi, that the teachers, I’d like to send my love and positivity your ways as well. And two times I have been privileged to visit China, the biggest of taking away, is Chinese people’s strong and companionate people.
老师们，我也想以自己的方式表达我的关心和积极态度。我两次有幸到到访中国，带给我最多感动的是中国人民的坚强和陪伴。
So now it is the time, to be strong and to rise up, stand together. I hope you all is OK, look after all your families, look after yourself, and of course look after your friends.
所以，在现在这样困难的时候，我们一起坚强起来，站在一起。希望大家一切都好，照顾好家人，照顾好自己，照顾好朋友。
