本学期受疫情影响，同学们都未能按时返校上课。因此，中加班的老师们一直采取线上授课的方式，尽可能保证同学们的学习。在授课的同时，老师们也更加注重增加学习的灵活性，让同学们保持一定的学习积极性和热情。中加班10年级的同学们在Morelli老师的指导下，进行了一堂别开生面的口语课。老师要求同学们选取一幅自己喜欢的艺术作品画像，对其中的人物塑像进行模仿，并以视频的方式讲解这幅作品背后的故事和之所以选择的原因。同学们的作品丰富且充满了乐趣，一起来看看他们的精彩表现吧！

This painting was created by Picasso, one of the best-known artists in the world. At that time, he felt blue and he created a woman who drank a lot. In this work, the woman is thinking deeply and she seems blue, too. I chose this one, because there is only one person, and I can imitate her movement and dress easily. It seems easy to recreate but it doesn’t. Recreating the background is difficult. As I was recreating, I felt that I went into Picasso’s heart and knew how he felt at that time.

The artwork that I chose was “le penseur” by Auguste Rodin, which is a bronze sculpture, usually placed on a bronze pedestal. It shows a male figure sitting on a rock with his chain on one hand as though deep in thought. As for the reason why I chose it, I didn’t really consider it much. I guess I’m just really into philosophy, and this specific artwork, the sculpture is always used to represent philosophy. You know we are living in a time where everything is going so fast, and the whole society is just hasty and impetuous in general. So I really wish I could have the patience to slow down and to ponder about my future like the thinker.

I chose this painting because I like the style of this painting very much. This is an oil painting. In the picture, a young girl slumped on the sofa, her eyes staring into the distance. In fact, I don't know what the author wants to express. The most intuitive feeling it gives me is that the girl is confused. Maybe she's thinking about something, maybe she's going through something that makes her depressed and decadent. This is the message from my eyes. But she is lying on the sofa in a comfortable way, which may also be that she is tired and wants to rest. Maybe my idea is different from the author's, I just put in my own feelings. This picture reminds me of myself in the period before the senior high school entrance examination. The expectation of my parents and teachers and the pressure to get a better score make me feel very tired every moment. At that time, I didn't go to play when I was resting, but also lied in a comfortable place like this and thought quietly about how to make myself better.
